How to solve it

Don’t peek yet. If spoilers ruin it for you, look away. Seriously.

Hint 1: Repeats exist.

Hint 2: There are two vowels total. One of them repeats.

Hint 3: The first letter is N.

Hint 4: The last letter is E.

Hint 5: Family matters. This word defines a female sibling of a parent? No wait. A sibling’s daughter.

The answer

Today’s word is NIECE.

Not bad? Debatable.

Yesterday, May 23 (No. 1799), the answer was CHUCK. Just a solid name. Nothing tricky about that.

For the records:

  • May 19 (1795): DUSTY
  • May 20 (1796): WRECK
  • May 21 (1797): AGREE
  • May 22 (1798): VOCAL

See you tomorrow with a new set of tiles. Hopefully fewer letters. Maybe more vowels. Who knows? 🎲
