That is a $151.99 cut from the standard $399.99 list price. Memorial Day is still technically fresh, which means deals are stacking up on Amazon’s end.
Sony XM5s. A solid choice.
Usually retailing near four hundred dollars, they are now sitting right near their lowest historical price of $243. Every color is discounted to this level, so you get your favorite shade for the same low number. Why wait?
Sure. The XM6 and the new 1000X series are out. But we still think the XM5 earns its keep. They hit an honorable mention on our best-of list because frankly, they refuse to die. Released in 2022. Legendary status already. Even in 2026 the audio holds up, shockingly.
Bethany Allard from Mashable put it best when comparing them to the newer model: “Despite being a 2022.release, the XM5s are far. from. feeling. outdated.”
Comfort is fine. Noise cancellation is elite. Sound quality? It just works.
“Originally released in 2024… they had unbeatable ANC and sound.”
Wait, the math check: it’s a 2022 launch. But the sentiment remains. They aren’t outdated. They’re just really good at what they do.
The deal might vanish before the holiday weekend ends. It’s an open question whether you need a premium upgrade or if you just need better isolation from the world.
